In the series of flame retardant products, microencapsulated red phosphorus as a non-halogen flame retardant is increasingly favored by users for its superior comprehensive performance.
Red phosphorus is a good flame retardant with advantages such as low addition amount and wide application. Common red phosphorus is prone to moisture absorption and has poor compatibility with polymer materials, making it impractical for use. Our factory adopts an international multi-layer microencapsulation coating process, selects special capsule materials, and produces microencapsulated red phosphorus flame retardant through inorganic-organic multi-layer continuous coating. This reduces the activity of red phosphorus, resolves the compatibility issue, and maintains a high content of effective flame retardant components. This flame retardant has excellent flame retardant and physical properties.
This product is mainly used for thermoplastic resins such as PET (polyester, cable material), PA (nylon), PE (polyethylene, cable material), EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, cable material), as well as thermosetting resins such as epoxy, phenolic, unsaturated polyester, and for flame retardancy of butadiene rubber, ethylene-propylene rubber, and fiber textiles.
The core of the microencapsulated red phosphorus flame retardant is finely ground high-grade red phosphorus particles, and the shell is an organic-inorganic composite material that itself also possesses flame retardant properties.
