The flame retardant treatment in the tape industry faces significant technical challenges. Traditional flame retardants often disrupt the crosslinking structure of the adhesive system, leading to a sharp decline in peel strength, surface bubbling, or high-temperature adhesive overflow. Hang Tai Ji has introduced advanced microencapsulated flame retardant technology specifically for pressure-sensitive adhesives, acrylic adhesives, and silicone systems. Our products endow the tape with excellent self-extinguishing properties (complying with UL510 insulation tape standards) while perfectly maintaining high initial adhesion and long-lasting peel strength, without bubbling or affecting temperature resistance, and fully compliant with EU RoHS and halogen-free environmental directives.
