Flame retardant FR-562A is a flame retardant developed by our company for customers engaged in silicone rubber flame retardant processing, suitable for occasions where silicone rubber products are relatively thin and small.
Flame retardant FR-562A is a halogen-free and red phosphorus-free environmentally friendly flame retardant developed by our company for customers engaged in silicone rubber flame retardant processing.
The main features of this product are:
(1) Suitable for flame retardancy in occasions where silicone rubber products are relatively thin and small. After adding a sufficient amount of this product, the resulting flame retardant product, even with a thickness of about 0.5 mm, when a sample strip is subjected to vertical flame combustion with continuous ignition for 60 seconds, the strip will not be burned through and will self-extinguish upon removal from the flame.
(2) This product has undergone ultra-fine grinding and surface modification treatment, has good compatibility with silicone rubber, is easy to disperse in it, and has little impact on the physical properties of the product.
(3) Ordinary halogen-free phosphorus-nitrogen flame retardant silicone rubber products will powder or crack when continuously heated at 160°C, thus posing application hazards. Our company's FR-562A effectively overcomes this defect, thereby greatly improving safety.

Usage reference:For ordinary 40-degree silicone, silicone rubber 100, FR-562A67, appropriate amount of white carbon black, appropriate amount of vulcanizing agent, the product can achieve V-0 flame retardancy at 0.8 mm thickness; if thinner flame-retardant products are needed, add flame retardant according to the ratio of silicone rubber:FR-562A = 1:1 to 1.05.
Safety performance:Contact with this product during production causes no significant harm. Since this product is a fine powder, it is recommended that production personnel wear dust masks during operation.
Packaging and storage:This product is usually packed in woven bags lined with PE film (or other materials as per customer requirements), net weight 25 kg per bag. It should be stored in a cool, dry indoor environment, avoiding direct sunlight, rain, and packaging damage.
