Its flame retardant principle:This product sublimates and absorbs heat, lowering the polymer surface temperature and blocking air, which accelerates melt dripping, thereby removing heat and combustible materials. It alters the thermal-oxidative degradation process, promoting rapid carbonization to form non-flammable carbonaceous substances. These substances expand and foam, covering the substrate surface to create an insulating layer that cuts off air contact and prevents the escape of combustible materials, effectively stopping sustained combustion. Meanwhile, the non-flammable gases produced from decomposition cause the material to expand, forming an expanded layer that significantly reduces thermal conductivity, facilitating self-extinguishing when the flame is removed.
