This product is a halogen-free, environmentally friendly phosphorus-nitrogen flame retardant, appearing as light purple (or black) fine powder. Usage method:Taking EPDM pre-mixed rubber (without flame retardant) with a hardness (Shore A) of 70 degrees as an example: 100 parts EPDM pre-mixed rubber, 40 parts FR-515A. After uniform mixing, the flame-retardant raw rubber can achieve a flame retardancy rating of UL94 1.0 mm V-0. For other flame retardant applications, refer to this example for necessary ratio adjustment tests, and then determine the appropriate ratio.
Safety information:Although FR-515A itself is a flame retardant, it is also flammable before being uniformly mixed with the material to be flame retarded. Therefore, fire prevention measures should be taken during storage, transportation, and use of FR-515A, and it should not be struck with hard objects. Contact with human skin during use will not cause harm to the human body. Since it is a fine powder, it is recommended to wear a dust mask when handling.
