Properties:

Melamine pyrophosphate, also known as melamine pyrophosphate, is a nitrogen- and phosphorus-containing flame retardant. The product is a white, fine powder, with outstanding advantages such as good thermal stability, insolubility in water, low smoke emission, and non-hygroscopicity.
Its flame retardant principle: MPP has excellent high-temperature processing performance. During endothermic decomposition, it forms a foam-like carbon layer covering the surface of the burning material, isolating it from air. Vaporized melamine provides an inert gas source, diluting oxygen and the concentration of combustible gases generated by polymer decomposition, thereby achieving flame retardancy. This product complies with EU environmental directives.
